How does this word get #### but you allow the threat of physical violence against another trucker to displayed? Sad.

The filter is set to take out and replace words that are determined to be unacceptable. This site trys to project a professional image when the public reads our threads.

If there are threats on the forum, then report them. We cannot possibly read every thread/post. Please help us keep TTR a friendly professional community.

You would promote more of a positive image by not allowing the "snitches get stitches" and similar responses. These kind of responses only show the ignorance which runs rampant in the industry. Maybe your mods can self report their behavior.

This site is great but it does have an element which makes it unbearable to read such ignorance at times.

Welcome to the Internet my friend.

I agree that the Mods are not the cyber police and can not read and approve every post on the site... So if true threats are occurring then someone must bring it to their attention so that they can contact the poster.

I am sure they would welcome the opportunity to help if they are made aware of it.

Just because something is reported doesnt mean it is acted on. Many things are reported here, yet it has come up before that there seemed to be no response, in reality the mods reviewed it as a joint thought and felt it could be ignored. So dont get yourself into a twist just because it seems some stuff looks like it was moderated. All to often it will just go on the slide.

Don't be...guess I'm having trouble trying to get a point across.

Basically writing #### is censored...but writing how you would use violence to solve an issue is ok.

Guess I have grown weary of this site.

Best of luck to all and safe travels....I'm out.

    Who said it was ok???

One is an easy filter which can be done automatically ... by the server ... The other is required reading, interpreting and judgement calls ... by humans.

I guess if the true value of a site is offset by a few then good luck finding any site.

And maybe true threats of violence towards an individual, although not exceptible in general, should be best addressed with law enforcement instead of hoping the mods would become the thought and speech police.

Stay Safe and enjoy your travels wherever they may take you.
