Last week I parked my Rig at there lot in Kearney NJ and flew home to Denver for the weekend, on Monday they sent me to the Bronks to get a empty....I was kinda in a hurry so I didnt google map it...when I arrived it was a empty field with a fence around it. Called in support says just bobtail in...I race over there as they close at 6pm...no luck with traffic...about an hour latter I get a call and Pat says can you go 55 miles to get an empty since you cant grab that load untill 7am...ahhhh NO as I am already behind. Click nothing heard further.... I did see a trailer today that is waithing for FW no wheel on one side...94xxxx

Ummm these new logging parameters suck I tell you that.. You basically will never be able to show not driving. Unless I'm missing something... I had 40 minutes left on/my 11.. From me driving to drop trailer and pick up an empty in the same lot and leave it took 20 minutes off my 11..wtf smh

Manually change it to drive when you are about to get on the road.

As you leave the gate, manually switch to driving. The extra time won't register. If you let it switch on it's own, it will eat your lunch. The FMCSA said two days ago that as long as you are on private property the ELD shouldn't count it as driving.

I forgot to manually put myself on drive when I left the OC yesterday, the qc counted the entire time my engine was running as drive time and took the on duty time as well. Lost 25 minutes to the drive line.

Are you saying it counted as drive time when you turned the ignition on?
