Thank you Syper, I'm guessing they are all about the same price. Was looking for cheap as possible you know save as much money as I can

I saw an advertisement at love's about a week ago. 109 each. It may have only been for that location tho. That's actually not a bad price. Usually anything cheaper than that is going to be only 750 cranking amps. And if you run up north you want 1100 cranking amp batteries for those zero degree nights.

    Lyle Thanks this.

I always buy the lowest CCA batteries I can find, the higher the CCA the more plates there are, and to get more plates they are thinner. Higher CCA batteries typically don't last as long either. I live up north and have never not had enough battery to start a truck using 600-750 CCA's. And interstate batteries are not half the quality that they used to be, if you can find a battery made be Penn Deka.

You are definitely right on the Interstate battery quality. After having several fail way too soon I switched brands a few years ago. The Deka is a really good battery.

Okay @spyder7723 told me how to run my dump switch. I have it running hot to toggle toggle to pigtail on truck. Ground going to batteries. I'm getting good ground good hot even to trailer with my power cord. But trailer won't dump air... Will it only work if it has weight? IMAG0218.jpg IMAG0218.jpg IMAG0216.jpg IMAG0217.jpg

Are you dumping the trucks air bags or trailers?
