Stupid oil filter question I know, but.....

    Plus if you don't lube the gasket, its a royal ##### to get loose. I've never pre-filled a fuel filter. I use the primer pump or the transfer pump. Fuel system tolerances are extremely close in today's engines.

    It only shows 1: oil can directed to top of filter. 2: A hand on the bottom of filter. 3: An arrow and +1. No other directions. Apparently anyone putting on oil filters these days should be incapable of reading.
    Cringe: No I did it for years! What really concerns me is the extreme tolerances in current fuel systems. I am very cautious with them.
