Minimum of 30 days experience? Isn't that the trial timeline for some companies? Might as well be advertising 'recently quit from another mega? Join jbhunt.'

I watched a JB driver in a distribution center yard give up on trying to back in a trailer the other day. He got out and walked over to a yard driver to arrange to have him park the trailer. He dropped it right there and bobbed away. Kind of sad, actually. [Then there was the Werner driver who called road service because he couldn't uncouple. Road mechanic told him to back up into the trailer to release the latch and set the brake, then pull the pin. Expensive service call.]

This is why this industry is falling apart.

I fully understand everyone's gotta start somewhere but when a driver hops out and uses his hands to recreate trailer/truck movement like a 10 year old, something is seriously wrong.

It might be nice to offer helpful instruction instead of using it as entertainment.

    Maybe not.

If you don't approach me or someone else, tells me you've got it. If someone asks for help, I'm always glad to give advice. If you still don't ask for help when it's clearly needed, then it's entertainment.

Rather have someone get out and try to figure it out any way possible, and ask for help from anyone around. I'll stop whatever I'm doing to help keep someone from hitting something. Wake me up if you gotta.

My truck bears the scars, and a new drivers mirror, from someone who didn't look or think, and dragged their trailer down it while I was sleeping.
