what bad trucking habits have you acquired

    when i was pulling tanker i did that a bunch of times with my coffee cup. took 30 mins or so of standing back there unloading sipping on coffee done put my hoses up and forget about my cup sitting there drive 50-100 miles and it was still there.

    Most of them are. Some will slow down and just hang out and watch your mirror. You could be going straight as an arrow and some clown will slow down 15mph and sit there plugging up the passing lane while they wait for whatever to happen. Turn the mirror in and they quickly shoot ahead.

    Yelling all the time at anyone and anything.
    Mostly just Toyota Prius drivers;)

    Eating fast food and hating myself for it,then 4 hours down the road stopping for more.

    Leaving my VZW hotspot on the roof or rear spoiler of my daily Toyota Prius. I'm out 3 hotspots in 4 months. But I feel your pain, though the Prius isn't the problem, the drivers are all too often.

    Not checking my brake lights. I liked it better when the trailer brake bar was on the column and not on the dash. It's spring loaded and won't stay engaged and so you have to find a way to secure it long enough to walk back and check your trailer brake lights. Of course the newer trucks are now coming equipped with a system that checks all your lights at the push of a button. Not sure about the trailer.
