He's taking a leak at his 5th wheel... Police rolls by that's a ticket. Can't say he's the smartest...

Missed the intersection though... Bad place to get caught with your Peter out...

Maybe he wanted to make sure his 5th wheel was well lubricated?

    ?
Does DVIR only record oos reports and show those.

Reason I ask is I dropped trailer last night and reported brakes and a light.

I picked up same trailer after break and it was mt however the DVIR came back as good condition with my info.

    Any ideas?

It was your dvir? Or was it the equipment status report?
@gentleroger would probably have the answer. Or @jakecat22 now has a line for answers himself.

Equipment status report said it was good condition which it was reported on DVIR as defective which my understanding is where they generate the equipment status report from....

I don't know how it happened but I reported defects and the report come back good condition.....

Luckily I knew better or I'd have to call myself out

Sem gets alerted via macro. Dvir is log related. Seperate things. Unless you also sent via macro it was good. Your dvir that was sent at pu mt showed defect yes?

    Vilhiem Thanks this.

The DVIR is for FMSCA compliance only.

OOS defects marked in a #### will show up on the box planner screen so in theory it will not be assigned by the box planner. The customer will load it though because they have.no.idea a problem exists.

The only way SEM knows there is a problem is if you go to messaging and fill out a "report defects" message or call in.

As an aside a DVIR takes a significant amount of time to process. Think about it like calling into support shift - you may get someone right away or be waiting until a week next Tuesday and there's no guaranty that you'll be successful in resolving the issue.
