I would like to note one more time, I do not know anything about the companies I listed, and I do not know if they are good companies or not. I don't work for them. But the information I got from them was invaluable for writing this calculator / program.
and again let me know if you all like it or need anything else added.

    Why what?
    Why make this?
I was asked to by a friend, but after reaching I noticed that other people could use it also. I would not have thought buying a semi would have had so much to it till I wrote this. So kudos to you that are doing this. To the people thinking about it, well that is why I posted this calculator.

this is exactly what a driver needs to run before they sign the lease deal. If your life costs $1.20 and the carrier is paying you $1.15 most lease ops never knew what happened even after they turned the truck in.

I should not even dignify your comment with a response, but I will give you the benefit of the doubt.

If you really think this is a scam, allow me to ask how so? I have taken my time to write this calculator for a friend of mine. The first version was just a simple basic calculator (hence the "First Version" you would have seen on here)

The “Second Version” was made with more calculations as to help with the other expense of owning a truck you might need to consider. Things I would have never thought of as I do not drive a truck

This "Last Version" I just posted has even more calculations to consider when either purchasing or leasing a Truck. To be more specific you can now add your household bills to the equation, save your personal calculated numbers, export for copy and paste.

This was posted here so others may have some information and a way to see if a lease or owning a truck will work for them.
    • So because this program was done for free,
    • Wrote on my time for free,
    • Posted for others to download for free,
    • The research done on my time for free, to make sure the calculation and information was as correct as possible,
    So where is the scam?
Not only that what is the scam?

Just got home, I will take a look at the file structure in a few minutes. I might have uploaded a bad file when I corrected the zip file on the post edit.
