    ok so
-got my CDL from CRST training program, it was easy as ####. the school had rusty bucket trucks with bare ### tires like no tire tread depth at all, the drive test was around the block, backed up in the yard and the incab and walk around test were fast and easy. this was maybe 4-5+ years ago

-i was with a trainer on the 1st day and quit on the 1st day just like that, CRST ended up having a class action lawsuit against them and i got $170 for free cuz of that (lucky me?) i think its funny CRST pays the lowest cpm now cuz they got their ### sued hahaha

    2013
-then i went on swift, they sent me to pheonix AZ for schooling, but i already had a cdl and they were just going to test me anyway. . . well that didnt sit well with me cuz i expected a "refresher course" and not really a retest so i quit right then and there (supposedly i owe them tons of money but they can #### in one hand and wish in the other see which one they get first! hahahah)

2013/14 ish somwhere in between there
-then i went on with central refrigerated, they sent me through the schooling, at the end they said "u already have a CDL so you get a free pass" i was excited and totally stoked! i worked with them for maybe 3? 3 and a half months or so before they surrendered to swift (i was bummed) and after that it was all "dont go faster than 62 mph, under any circumstance that a tow truck needs to be called on your account it'll be a preventable accident" and so on, pay was fair i guess but i didnt make a full 12 months with swift cuz i quit (i thought quitting might look better on my record idk maybe im dumb)

2016 i always renewed my CDL and the medical as soon as DMV mailed me some #### about it
-fast forward to right now, i have 3 preventable accidents cuz i got stuck in the mud twice! dont know how far apart those accidents occurred but it was on account of me missing my exit and then following gps to get me to turn around, then i got stuck in the sand in a truck stop lot where 3 other trucks were already parked, so i thought i was safe enough to park there as well . . . .i parked there but i got stuck. needed a tow truck to pull me out, but i thought it was funny that 2 other drivers also tried to park there and also got stuck! hahaha
anyways i applied to MAY trucking, they turned me down and now im applying to CR england and Knight transportation, i figure they might turn me down also. . . .in which case i feel like im boned. am I just not hireable? CRST is a #### company but i may end up applying to them anyway for ####s n giggles
i might just also send applications to every company listed in the "report bad companies here" thread for more laughs, maybe i'll get hired who knows hahahaha

    TL:DR
3 preventable accidents in an 11 months period, am i not hireable?

thanks for reading my wall of text

    Try these:
    Western Express
    Carolina Cargo
    TransAm
    Paschall Truck Lines

A new driver just posted he likes CRST. The guy has a strong work ethic and seems very mature. Says he's making good money there.

If you can get a company to see that those incidents were nothing more than getting stuck in the mud/sand then I think you will be OK. JMHO

Which state do you live in? Put it on your profile so drivers know the hiring area you live in.

i live in central valley CA, i dont care where the loads come from or where they're going, never ran into problems when i was OTR, usually i made deliveries to walmart which i liked the most cuz all their yards are huge, easy backing, easy money. drove during the winter (which sucked but smooth sailing otherwise)
yeah i need to work on my profile, thank you for the replies everyone!
also CRST may be a good company, i hope thats true but their pay is significantly less than what i was making when i was with swift, the reason i say this is because at the time i was team driving with my friend (cuz i felt my backing needed more work so in case i encountered a messed up situation i could call on my buddy for help which he did one time) and we encountered another team driver that was working for CRST
i brought home like $650+ for a week worth of work
and those guys said they brought home $470+ something for a weeks worth of work. . .
now that conversation was lacking specific details like loads and logistics and whatnot etc etc, which really wasnt any of my business to ask about finances but they offered what they could and i took it for truth so who knows but i always remember that conversation

You're out of the hiring area for TransAm and Paschall Truck Lines.

No. No you're not. You don't learn anything and you're going to keep on doing the same stuff. Take responsibility for what you do.
