Would it generally speaking be a good amount to rely on for retirement if you put 25-30 years in? I know only the bare basics of how ESOP works.

 

There's numerous ESOP related messages in the media section of the Qualcomm to help the drivers comprehend the system. Not eligible til after 1 year of service. Not sure if any of the TTR posters have been here long enough to have received contributions. I know you can't buy the stock. I have spoken to a few drivers that have been around a while and the contributions do vary each year. Sounds like it's usually at least a couple grand per year.

 

Loaner? When did that happen? What kind of truck is it?

 

Last year it was reported that those with 3 years vested accounts were over 25k.
i dont know how much stock you receive per year but it is based on time worked here and mileage i think....
but yes...after 20 years it could be a considerable sum should the company still exist..
401k is also available...
