You would get off CHEAP at $15. My very first day of solo driving, I parked bobtail in a Meijer parking lot, woke up to a cop pounding my door, and the ticket was (IIRC), $180. The USA Truck bobtailed next to me all night had just left, and the cop didn't show any mercy because I was following his lead. And fwiw, the route I took to et into the parking lot didn't have any signage to indicate no overnight parking, that was all in the main parking areas. Of course I tried to park off to the side by the garden area, in January.
That's a good way to get PAID to leave... :p

My only ticket was a $350 fine from that front royal va Walmart.

The sign says no truck parking except local deliveries.
    Liars.
I delivered to the dg down the street same zip code.

    Judge didn't go for it.

I was there all but 15 minutes boarded waiting for my next load. The county brownies got 9 or 10 of us that night.
    Nice money grab.

Drove down to Ellis all pissed off xD

Williston store used to rent camper and tent space for 35 bucks a night. They used to allow trucks but shut that down about a year ago

And all that is why I try to plan my trips correctly to stay at truck stops.

Go for what you know you can count on, instead of what you hope for.
