I'm taking my 34 too. Going to do laundry in am and go for a walk. Love wearing my florescent green vest and walk by the fuel island. Invariably, a trucker will ask me to fill the washer fluid bucket. I say sure, I'll be right back. Then make another round around the parking lot. Then, it either dawns on him I'm messing with him, or he's pissed that the fuel island help just walked away..

Made it to South Plainfield NJ. Went to my hidey spot that is a short walking distance from grocery store big lots and stores about a mile from my Monday delivery. Hit a little bit of snow but roads were just wet. Getting a 34 in as well. Thinking I might get my haircut tomorrow since I need it and do a little grocery shopping.

I wonder about these other drivers that don't cook anything in the truck and live on truck food and chips and snacks and candies... When they have to stay at a truck stop like this one I'm at now for a weekend or so, they eat only Subway food... There's nothing else around here... -
Yes I cook almost all my meals in the truck. Costs much less. Make my own coffee. I've got a microwave crock pot and a electric grill. I can eat for less than 50 a week plus much healthier.

I ate at an Indian restaurant once... somewhere on I-40 but can't remember which state... food was very good.. Very spicy... of course... The place was family owned by folks from India... and most of the customers where from that region too...
Today I used three pots to cook here... An electric slow cooker for the soy beans, an electric rice cooker for the brown rice and a gas stove for the vegetable stew... I don't use microwave or grills or skillets or toasters... Don't fry anything and don't drink coffee...
Cooking in the truck can save one a lot of money... food is VERY expensive on the road... and VERY unhealthy...NavigatorWife Thanks this.
