That is exactly the truth of the matter! If drivers decided on what companies to work for by reading ttr they would never get a job cuz every single company out there is bashed on here n according to whats said on here there is no good company. If people strictly stated there experience with a company on here instead of 95% of the here say or make beleive you would get a much more realistic view on what companies are or are not. But you got people on here solely to bash big name companies they never worked for just for the heck of it. Even people who never driven a truck let along worked for a company. Anyways no company is perfect and may be even down to specific locations or accounts that are no good versus the company as a whole. People need to get over the name on the side of the truck and do what works for them and there situation. Its all the same bs out here..whats convenient what works and as long as you making enough money for your family who gives a flyin donkey. I defend Jb against the fakers not the people who had a truly bad experience and speaking there experience. The ones who havnt worked for them and spread false rumors ticks me off when I know it is not true. Im proud of my job and the work I put in and beleive it or not im proud to be a part of a Jb Hunt. Been real solid to me across the board.

    You're real proud huh...
I was at Jb for the c and s account in Newburgh...
A fellow driver of mine has been there before Jb took it over...he's been there a total of 3 years.
Why may I ask has Jb not given him or any other driver a raise in over 3 years?
What are you so 'PROUD' of ?
The ceo makes 4m a year yet they can't give drivers a simple raise over a 3 year period. Are you 'PROUD' of that ?

I work the c&s acct and have been here before jb tookover and worked for webster trucking before i stayed on with jb. Alot of guys left cuz they said screw Jb before trying it but me and alot of others stayed. I went from makin .39cpm 11 a stop with webster to makin .41cpm 13.25 a stop plus $60 a day in salary which equated to a massive raise for me. That $60 a day alone ammounts to an extra $300 a week raise. Better vacation pay, det. pay and way better benefits at half the price. I got 20k a year raise cuz jb for the same work I was doin with webster. But Jb should give a raise..I dont disagree with that and I think all truck drivers deserve to be making much more money for all we do and risking our lives out there but its not just a jb thing its industrywide. Ceos make the big bucks and we make jack squat thats just the way it is. Why is it a bad thing to be proud though? If im happy and jb been good to me why cant I share my experience. They gave me a job a career that I can make a good living on and support my family... Any large company is the same. The big heads organize the small guys execute. They make the big bucks and we make pennies in comparison. I can live comfortably, eat well, sock away money for retirement and live in a modest home and am very greatful. So yeah I am proud and thankful and proud to be part of a great company.

How would you explain the rampant turnover with that account ? Something tells me you're a JBH manager or damage control specialist trolling away at your desk in little rock AR

The high turnover rate on all of the c&s accounts are due to accidents. The stores that you have to deliver to are tight, some are old grand unions that were designed for straight trucks in the 60's and 70's. A lot of nyc and close quarter blind side backing so that equates to a lot of accidents. Worked for Webster for 6 years and have been with JB for 3.

I too have worked for JB Hunt. I'm not gonna say which state or exactly what i do but i will say this..... JB HUNT rips off their drivers! I don't know if you have the same problem as every other driver there but a lot of times dispatchers mess up on your paycheck and short mile you! It has happen to me plenty of times and i have always had to correct them! Lots of work that i did never got paid for. Whether it was detention pay or fixing those #### recap tires they use, i would not get paid for maintenance repairs time! They would also forget to pay for emtpy miles comimg back to yard or to next stop. There were miles that i did not get paid for to this day. I stop correcting so that sooner or later somebody will start a lawsuit agsinst them. The company wanted to change their pay rate from hourly to mileage so that it will save them money on their behalf, they will soon realize that it will not once lawsuits start coming in.

Actually it is by unorginize & unprofessionalism by the dispatcher! I know what i should be paid for because i write everything down and document it. Funny how some of the same places i go to have different load miles sometimes! If dispatcher uses a mileage calculator software, why are the #'s different then if i go to the same place everytime?

Why you got your panties in a bunch over JB? Let me ask you a question. Where do you work?

I work for JB and I understand the issues on the C&S account. I have worked grocery for other companies and have helped with C&S while with JB. I can tell you that it is a tough account. I personally would work somewhere else if I had to pull those loads. But that is me. I know other guys that prefer it. It's all a choice.
