Slightly off subject but since it was brought up.....for y'all new at this that keep talkin bout someone pullin your pin while parked.....
Do (as y'all call it a) Tug Test.....When you park.....then with pressure still against the pin.....LOCK your tractor brakes....then release trailer valve valve......shut off truck&don't worry.....pin can't be pulled till you back slightly and take pressure off.....problem solved....
As for Pretrip.....Please do it before you roll....if you're anywhere in my vicinity....Thank you.....;)

Do both, pre trip and post trip then you can easily log 15 minutes at the beginning and at the end of the day. Do it while fueling that way you get two birds with one stone. I log PTI and fuel in one 15 minute block either at the beginning or end of the day then just flag the other PTI.

Word of warning, do not drop the pressure on your trailer up north. That is unless you enjoy crawling around under your trailer etc the next morning with a big hammer beating on your brakes because they are froze.
