Thinking about joining Marten...Live in Oregon so terminal would be Wilsonville. Want to do regional and hoping for home time after running 7-10 days. Do they make you redue your dot physical cuz I just had mine done for 2 more years...what would a driver make on avg cpm with 4.5 years experience? Thanks in advance

Yes Marten would make you redo your physical. Marten transport does have a Facebook page you can post on to that and they will reply to you. Just search for Marten Transport Ltd

They probably start you at around .39 mile. Wilsonville terminal has plenty of parking, showers, and laundry. Running regional gets you a 34 hr restart every 10 - 14 days.

Old jb hunt tactics. Going home? OK, clean out your truck!

I work for Marten. I just took 8 days off for Christmas. My truck sat in my yard during my time off. My FM's last words before taking time off, "have a good holiday. See you in a week". I'm still driving the same truck. It was never even suggested that I'd have to turn my truck in.

    So far, good.

I came over to Marten almost a year ago now. I run a dedicated route along I-5 from LA to Portland and back. So I obviously can't speak for everyone. But I've got a good FM. Pay and benefits are good. Tooling around in a new truck. Not really much to complain about. There are a few issues every once in awhile, but mostly trucking probems. Marten has treated me good. Like I said, no real complaints.
