Probably so many of them left that they are commenting in other discussions, I was so close to pull the trigger and get on one of those super slick international but there's something about driving in the northeast that keeps me flipping the bird and looking at nice legs while stuck on the crossbronx

Yeah I was with Eagle back in April of 2015 but had to leave due to family issues, I then returned in Nov, only to have to leave again this month due to the death of my brother, as I have to look after mom now.

For those of you going to Eagle, read this thread, and if you still want to go, orientation is pretty quick, the delay is in getting a truck. If you go used be prepared for a 4-7 day wait for them to get your truck ready, as they sometimes have a backlog, if you go new you may have to go to another location to get it, or you can repo a truck, but you have to sign the lease before you see the truck. Have a plan, and communicate that plan to your DM, they want you to do well, because if you do, so do they, write down questions you may want to ask your DM when you meet them. When the truck is ready, go over it well, just in case they may have missed something. You will do well if you are willing to follow the money, even if you don't like the area, but if there are some area's you don't want to run, let your DM know before you take your first load, if you have a relationship with a broker, let them know, that broker may already be working with Eagle. And yes, you can book your own loads, as long as they produce $500 to $700 per day revenue.

    Have fun.

I was always cool with Darla. She just let me do my thing. Shane was a piece of work though. I'm actually sorry to hear that terminal closed. It was so remote, might be hard to find a job around there.

Yeah, that was Darla's issue (for most drivers): She did very little. Drivers would call in to ask about getting a load and as you'd look at their history, you'd see huge gaps where they had been sitting and upon investigating further, you'd find that Darla hadn't spoken to them for weeks at a time.

Of course, all that comes from the fact that Darla had upwards of 50 L/O drivers under her at one time, which is just a ridiculous work load and not one that's going to allow much communication at all.

Knoxville closing was a shame, no doubt, but it was a needed change. I won't go into all the issues, but it was for the better.

    Loke Thanks this.

    Okay all,
I have went back through all previous posts and cannot for the life of me find a couple of things that I thought were previously mentioned.
What are Eagle trucks governed at?
Even though they are on qualcom, do you determine your own route?
    Prepass/Toll pass availability?
What does the truck situation look like right now at Quality? Looks like I will be there early to middle of Feb. I plan on Flatbed/Step whatever they have except refer or van. Trying to speak with anyone at Quality is futile as they seem to not know how to call someone back.

    Thanks
