Drove trucks in every state but Maine and Hawaii and yes the Rockys have bad spots but get into rural WV, KY, VA, steep grades, tight turns a little Ice and ladies and gentleman give me the Rockys all day!

Every few weeks/months I go over Wolf Creek, I've been over it 9 times since Sept., 5 times it was dry, twice with chains, and twice barefoot praying CSP wasn't around.

13 people died going over the Bighorn mountains on Hwy 16 and 14 here in Wyoming this last year. All passes can be dangerous if you don't drive to the conditions. The company I work for let's us drive anywhere at anytime. You just have to be smart about it. Use chains when needed and don't overheat your brakes. I drive the Northwest eculesively. If I shut it down everytime the roads were not ideal i would never get anywhere.

What's that , Park it till summertime , With all the idiot 4 wheelers and unpredictable phenomenon's that happen on the highway, I would never call any mountain pass in a blizzard EASY. Just saying

HomeStake I-90 in Montana can be real fun when the weather turns bad. Its got a 25mph limit and quite a few curves and one screw up and youre done.
