Lots of food and snacks. As mentioned if your going to drive for someone else then you should work something out with them. If your driving for yourself then you should pay yourself. I paid myself. Stayed in a hotel and had steak almost every night.

 

Good to hear. Did you say you planned on going van? Tough time to make that change. Heck it's a tough time to make any change.

All of you coming over here right now are braver than I am. I may have come in the winter but it sure wasn't like this winter. I'm finishing the month off with about half as much rev. For the month of January as last year which was my 1st month here. I worked a little less and put a lot less miles on the truck but.....

 

I've read on here that some Mercer o/o's are prep landing their trucks a few loads out or more and some aren't. If it's a board system, how can you preplan?

I'm going flat. Hate a van. Pulling one now and dread it. I understand it's a rough time to jump but kinda felt it was now or never. 27 yrs exp. so I have learned a little along the way.
