All very good advice. And no, I don't think you came off heavy at all before. We're in a business with very serious hazards. You just stated SOME of those hazards.

DAY 2
Success. I met my trainer at wal-mart and he already had a load. We left out about 40 miles west of Atlanta and I started driving en route to Goodlettsville, Tn. I ran into quite a bit of rain right before I got to Chattanooga and it lasted about 2 hrs off and on, at times getting pretty bad, but then it cleared up and it was smooth sailing. Reached my destination, dropped my load, picked up a new one at the same place and we left out headed towards a town right outside of Dallas. I drove for about an hour and we found a place to park it for our 10 (still in Tenn.) and that's where were at now. Gonna hit the interstate runnin' as soon as we wake up. Safe travels everyone!! -

Lol yes, the way it works here is its 8 weeks training, the first 4 is like a solo with him right beside me to teach/monitor.. Then if he feels comfortable, the sencond 4 weeks we run as if we were a team. (Which he has already said after the kind of first day we had he knows we'll be running as a team the second 4)

That's great to hear! Proper training such as that seems hard to find in a lot of companies for new guys. Stay safe out there and every day is a learning day no matter how long you drive.

Day 3
Nothing to exciting.. clocked 520 miles today. Parked in Ft. Worth, Tx. Getting loaded in the morning and headed back to Arkansas. (Dallas area confusing and has a lot of road construction going on) Safe travels!
