I was in 29053, sure miss the ol' girl, and they took her away at 649,500. Know I'm rolling down the road in Shaffer blue. If your lucky, timing will workout to your advantage and you'll get one of the new trucks comming off the line.

I was in the Columbus yard last week and they have two new red ones and blue one sitting by waiting for assignment.

Did they order the Cascadias in Shaffer blue? I saw the Cretes at Marietta. 13 of them I think. What a beautiful sight!(if you can block out the 2 burnt/rolled Centurys sitting nearby)

Driving down the highway? I'd love to see the bear's face when he's passing you and hears you start your truck up.:biggrin_25523:

I take it you have been with Crete now a few months. Have you been able to get home in a reasonable manner? How's everthing else going with Crete?

I would reply but I'm National fleet out of Portland OR. 18-21 days out then home for 4 or 5.

I have a new Cascadia. Nice truck but it's so heavy. MT weight full of fuel is 34,600 so I really have to watch how much fuel I have when I send MT call. I try to stay as light as I can till I see what the load is then adjust fuel stops to load. I'm out of Columbus and FM is reallly good about my fueling "out of network" in those cases.
I have to agree that Crete is the best company out here for a solo driver but it is still a trucking company and it ain't perfect. If anybody does find the perfect job please post it. That will be the only way I'm leaving here before I retire.

..the only "perfect" trucking company would be the one you own!
