Nu Hot offers the following for Van:

• One day orientation
• We offer top Pay .40 CPM guaranteed on Start Date.
• Governed trucks at 70mph
• BCBS Medical
• Solid Home time along with 34 hour restarts at home
• 2012-2013 Freightliner Cascadia’s with APU’s – 10 Speeds
• 2015 Great Dane Trailers
• E-Logs and Qualcomm Dispatch
• 24/7 Fleet Manager Availability
• No Hazmat freight

Requirements:

• 2 years verifiable experience required
• Clean MVR and Background
• Must pass DOT Physical and Drug Screen

Expedited Flatbed Division
Nu Hot offers the following for Flatbed:

• We offer top Pay .46 CPM guaranteed on Start Date.
• 40.00 Tarp Pay
• Governed trucks at 70mph
• BCBS Medical
• Solid Home time along with 34 hour restarts at home
• 2015 Volvos 670 with APU’s – 10 Speeds
• 2015 Fontaine Infinity Spread Axle
• E-Logs and Qualcomm Dispatch
• 24/7 Fleet Manager Availability
• No Hazmat freight

Requirements:

• 2 years verifiable experience required
• 1 year flat bed experience
• Ability to obtain AL Coil Certification
• Clean MVR and Background
• Must pass DOT Physical and Drug Screen

 

If you can't be honest, upfront and courteous with your employees and you think the right thing to do is surprise them with letting them go when it is no fault of their own, that is just chicken #### and not being professional.

We had discussed that, but due to the fact that they would take a .10 cpm pay cut we figured they would tell us to fly a kite.

Youre right about the owner... but I was only doing as I was instructed...dont worry when I tell you, his decisions are about to catch up with him, i forsee Nu Hot not being around much more, and you will have the last laugh.

 

I worked for nuhot for slightly over 90 days when they brought me in and john Pennington himself told me he was downsizing. From what I understand he lost his lease with penske only two months after losing his lease with Ryder. I was told I did nothing wrong and he could guarantee me a job with Buddy Moore in Birmingham. Two weeks went by and his recruiter Johnathon Bailey finally admitted there was only one truck available and ten drivers competing for it. He said only what he thought I wanted to hear to keep me calm during the separation. I hope ge
