Whoops sorry no extra stop! Didn't read it properly.

Last week he ran 2,709 hub miles his check was $6396.70 for the week. He left Monday morning around 5am and was home noon on friday. He also did two 10 hr restarts at home mid week.
Last week he got 2.36 for all miles whIle pulling my trailer and running my athority.
He could have got 3800 hub miles if he would would have hauled the Friday load and would have been home Saturday night.
There are very few variables and it doesn't get any easier in the flatbed world. From what I am hearing he is a little high and there is room to negotiate.
Thanks for the helpLast edited: Feb 4, 2016

@Lindaparr the gross is his take home or gross to the truck?
-
That is to the truck. I don't know what he takes home. It can't be much with a new KW payment.
I know his insurance cost is 1,104 a month and he averages 6.8 MPG -
If he doesn't want to do that then i will. 6000 a week for power only under someone elses authority and insurance? Sign me up. I'd even go out and buy a new truck. Where are you out of?
Dominick253 and goin2fast10 Thank this. -
Ahh$$$$!! -
Since you already have authority, insurance, and the whole system in place running 4 trucks it may be worth a hard look if adding a 5th truck and driver wouldn't be more cost effective.
There may be wiggle room just not with the guy you are looking to lease on...find a driver w/ lower operating costs ( i.e...not a new truck or $13,250 yearly insurance payment )TequilaSunrise Thanks this.
