Love the interior set up, seats are wide but hard as heck, if you drive team: can't completely shut off music in sleeper and ride vibration make it hard to sleep! Anyone else have vibration issues? It comes and does

The KW seat looks good, but garbage. The lumbar side support deflated one side and the foam collapsed on the seat in the first year. The seat warranty is different than the truck's warranty, so it was not covered!
I do not know the speaker issue, never tried.
I had speed related vibration what was fixed by front wheel ballance and skirted lug nuts. Also I have engine related vibration when it works very hard at low RPM. But it is not that bad....Or I got use to it....But definitely I do not try to sleep. Lol

Hey everybody. Have not been here for a while.
300,000 so far and everything looks fairly good.
Just came back from vacation and got letter from Kenworth that they (finally) found some issue with o-rings on sleeper heater that caused coolant leakage. Campaign named TIB 01-065 and it took TWO freaking years and 300,000 miles for KW to realize the problem. Truly speaking I dont believe this will solve the problem but Hope dies last. But for now I simply add 1gal every 15,000miles.
Another small problem that appears this winter is Water In Fuel alarm. It looks like connectors due to often on\off have been damaged (water separator element replacement). Very, very poor engineering.
This year I will replace the truck. I will replace it anyway, coz i need lighter one, - mine is too heavy and I lost 30% of loads because of it.

    Grijon Thanks this.

Hey. Nice to hear from you, I started to worry....:) Mhhh. The o ring must help, because since it replaced I have not much coolant loss. Although sometimes I can smell it around the truck, but could not locate any leak. Even before it was inconsistent, but never reached the gallon/15000mls.
I am sorry you are leaving this community, but hey! This is a business. And definitely not honeymoon. That was very fast over "thanks" to Kenworth, but, still I do not see better option for me.
Good luck for your new rig and it would be nice to hear some feedback.

Is anybody having issues with their PACCAR engines. I guess they have a class action going right now because of the aftertreatment system.

Im not leaving actually. :) I said I would order maybe another t680, but much lighter weigh. I plan to get rid of fairings, exchaust behind cab, 8-12" shorter frame, etc.

Single wide tires? Low roof, alloy fifth wheel and drive shaft? Vaporizing cab cooler? Paccar engine? 10 speed direct drive tranny? Perhaps dead axle?

Well, got some research. Shorter frame, no fairings, short exhaust will save 900lbs. Dead axle will save extra 400lbs. Surprisingly lack of interwheel locks will save only 40lbs so this is not the issue.
Fixed bunk heater o-rings recall. Will watch coolant level though.
Found out that "water-in-fuel" sensors could be replaced. Will fix it next time.
Also found out that all current t680 supply comes with steer axle disk brakes only.
