Ill be honest. TransAm is a decent company. The lease program is in easy words a joke. Im hearing they currently have 9 class action lawsuits against them. I left them in dec after 3 months and currently out looking.

Friend of mine worked at TransAm for 2 years and loved the company. He quit because his wife pressured him to find something local. He was a company driver, not a lease driver.
Plenty of good companies hire in North Carolina.
Freymiller - hires new cdl grads. The website has "6 mos. experience required" but that's not correct; they hire new grads. It's one of the better reefer outfits right now.
Abilene Motor Express - lots of dry van drop & hook loads.
Magnum Ltd. - hires new cdl grads/no experience required.
Tyson Foods - hires new cdl grads

Reason i left Transam is on 2 occasions i set myself up for 3200 miles and soon as i hit 2600 miles i get told i have to swap with a company driver who is "out of hours" and when i get to the swap location i find out other driver has plenty of hours. figured out to lost about $500.

That kind of garbage happens way too often with many companies. You'll probably always be a little bitter about that. I'm still PO'd about things that I perceived as a personal affront from elementary school and hold a grudge for life even though it's a bad trait to have. Try to move on and don't dwell on it. Get a good job and use what happened at TransAm as a lesson learned.
