I got a sam problems with my 2013 volvo..isx. Its doing regen twice a day+burning oil but I cannot even see it..just funny smell every time when I am parking..any ideas ???
-
Basically bad ring to liner seating. ISX's in that range also have issues with valve stem seals letting go and allowing oil consumption.
-
Ok..thank you.. Friend of mine saying it's dpf..probably it's time to change fillter..i got 342k on the tractor..

Got this truck. 3 weeks ago..and already having problems.. When this truck was running for local fleet it was everything fine.. I got a record from the time when it was new..

Oil consumption will lead to excessive regens. Burning oil will plug up a dpf in no time and the system is not meant to burn off collected oil. Make sure the engine is not being overfilled. After that I would suggest repairing the oil issue before spending any money on the aftertreatment.

That what I think too.. Just add 3 gallons of oil..it was not even on the add mark..right now it is on full..after 3 gallons.. 3 gallons on 15000 miles

I am trying to get now extended warranty and put the truck to the shop for repair..
