Feds look to tighten English law for truckers

California here. I have my reasons for not disclosing certain info....it's not personal, it's business.

 

has anyone noticed in the truckstops the books with the trucking jobs one is listed all in spanish, i was like WTF, this is the 1st time I noticed them, how long they been out there

iI am a mccain guy, but what obama said was taking out of context, he said we need to learn spanish, but the mexicans also need to learn perfect english, Mccain has said the same thing to be fair but Obama doesnt think english should be our official language, if i missquoted someone and u have backing plz tell me so I can be right

 

You have to understand that the Mexican government lobbies heavy to get their workers in the US since most of them send $$$$ back home to their families which in turn, stimulates the local economies in Mexico. Legal and illegal aliens are Mexico's #2 industry and their most profitable export.

 

I guess I need to start selling books and videos to drivers on how to speak spanish

 

We had a Russian guy come in last week to the DC. I told him to break the seal, set it on the back of the trailer and back in to door 47. He looked at me like I had spoken gibberish. And then he said something to me I could not understand at all....I think it was English. I let the boss handle it......how this guy got a CDL is beyond me!

 

See there...that's the problem.

If this had happened where I live...the dumb ### would still be sitting there wondering why he wasn't getting unloaded.

And while I might try to help the guy out myself. The locals here would have looked at him like he has lost his mind. I wouldn't put it past one of them to hand him a dictionary

 

Hear or read about two truck drivers pulled over in Alabama by a State Trooper? They could not speak english so they both got a fine for $500.00 then let go.
If they could not speak english then what makes you you think the could read english, like road signs!
Wonder what the Trooper was smoking?

 

They'll just disappear back to Mexico and not show up for court.
