I will say that anecdotally though, the later half of 2015 seemed slower than normal for me. Pull into truck stops at 1000 and half the lot is filled up and waiting a day for the next load, DM automatically giving that $50 layover pay.
The crashing economy

We absolutely have to get manufacturing back in this country.
The left can not continue to promise US citizens the world without finding a way to finance their plan.
If someone doesn't get on the ball soon we will see a unrecoverable recession .CrappieJunkie, Cottonmouth85, Charlie Mac and 1 other person Thank this. -
I have seen the same remarks in a number of financial newsletters I get. The market is in a downturn and the govt as well as the 5 other major countries have been printing money like it is going out of style while interest rates are at 0 %.. Japan just created a negative interest rate and has been in recession for the past 18 years.
The housing crisis has yet to unwind and the impending credit crisis, has not begun. China and many other countries are in trouble
Factor in baby boomers downsizing, a smaller workforce to support taxes and Social Security and younger workers don't have the money to buy 200,000 houses. Saving a good cash reserve is a good idea IMO. Look what happened in Greece.
Some doom and gloom guys say the Dow will go as low as $6000. I have moved to cash in all my retirement accounts, and if the bottom falls out baby will I be ready to buy. If not I will get back in equities when I see signs of upward movement.
But I ain't sweatin it.texasbbqbest Thanks this. -
Buy products made in the USA!
A company in My hometown of Indianapolis got $5.1M in Federal stimulus money to "expand production" and followed that up by announcing earlier this week they're closing the local shop & moving operations to Mexico.
The HVAC company "Carrier" is moving due to the fact they are currently paying American workers $20p/h and workers in Mexico will do the job for $3.00 p/h.
On YouTube you can watch as the company execs tell the devastated employee's "It's just business."
