The drivers that are the most annoying are the ones that pass you and then can't keep their pace up so you pass them again. I work for a small outfit they govern at 75. This happens everyday. If your going to pass somebody keep your pace up. Don't pass and then slow down a half a mile up the road

My truck is governed at 75. I usually set my speed about 64. On rolling terrain someone lighter but governed at 62 sees a chance to use the downhills to get ahead. That is absolutely affecting my world when I haveto adjust for them when they should have very well have stayed behind. now I have to slow down to match them or pour onthe speed to get a mile ahead of them which I didn't want to do.
Work together you say? I don't know why these people think they are are so special that they have to be passing everyone every chance, maybe they need some extreme mental health anger management therapy. You want to talk about me me me syndrome it is the drivers who are trying to pass everyone all day long when they are in a 62 mile per hour truck who expect everyone else to bow down and slow down to their princess ways.Last edited: Feb 27, 2016

I drive 65 in a 65 and I drive a W900.
But in all fairness, if I am loaded, don't expect me to back out of it for you to pass. The reason being is that I am more than likely grossing over 100k. When I get it to 65 I am not slowing down till I hit a hill and it slows me down. If I am over 150k there is nothing to worry about because I even get passed by Yugo's.
If you are passing a heavy haul truck that is loaded, don't you dare slow down in front of them after passing. It takes a long time to build up speed and someone doing that really pisses us off. If you don't have the nuts to pull a hill, don't slow down that heavy haul truck you just passed.wore out, scottied67, corneileous and 1 other person Thank this. -
I'll pass a California plated Pete or KW with the reefer trailer with all those stupid lights and 1/2 mile after I pass them they come flying by me doing about 75-80 and get right back in front of me doing 62 mph again.. It never fails ,it happens at least 3 times a night mostly all California trucks with produce
That's why I like cattle haulers the best ; they'll just pass you at 100 mph and you never see them again and they won't come over 25 ft in front of you after passing when there's no trafficscottied67 Thanks this. -
I would much prefer a signal with lights than some possibly random voice over the public airways telling me to change lanes...
With my luck, it would be a driver talking to different driver heading in the opposite direction.
Rules??? You mean to say enough truckers use to be in total agreement to establish rules???

This thread is going exactly as I expected.
I'm governed at 63 and it is ruining my life.
As y'all are getting dibs on the sirloin at the Skillet I am still beyond the state line drag racing Knight, Schneider, and those awful wiggle wagon jockeys.
It is somewhat common for me to get passed by the same O/O 3 separate times in 10 hrs. He stops for breakfast while I soldier on. He stops for lunch while I soldier forward. He stops to walk the dog while I keep marching.
My dream is to join the left lane chain gang and blow dudes doors off.Subutai, Johnny-FlipFlop, Cruisin thru and 4 others Thank this. -
