    Nothing about 401k ? 100% match up to 6%
1800.00 per year Dental coverage ?
    Benefits ?
    Raises ?
Hrly pay for local work if you want when waiting a day at the plant on a load?
Hrly pay for other stuff if you're willing to ask, and the situation leaves them feeling you have a legit point?
Nothing about hub miles meaning ... you go home 150 miles from where you empty it's paid Miles?
and paid back out too ?
There's detention on BH's , but you have to be sure a few weeks later it pays. If it doesn't get on them. That's one thing for sure they need to handle better IMO.
The upside to that is , in 3 yrs with them I can happily say I've only had like 3 times I pushed for detention and got it. Our Brokers are pretty good.
Just a job nothing special ?
To the guy asking , I started locally Chicago in 88. I had a really excellent job through a driver placement office at Farley's candies back early 90's for 4 yrs. Favorite Brands bought them out and positions were eliminated.
I had a union job with a rinkydink local... Just a job.
Drove for Jevic 7.5 yrs , 63k p yr, home 45 w/e's out of 52 , But miserable every day until they went under.
In 28 yrs out here , and about 17 OTR , I'd say this is about the best I've had outside of Farley candies.
Is it perfect ? Nope , and I won't tell you to call me if you find the perfect job , just because it's perfect for you doesn't mean it'll be perfect for me.

Im not a recruiter MIM ( dispatch has advised me way back
that people come here to assist potential applicants so i
    respect that )

But you are correct ..... Poly has outstanding benefits
and anything you do for them is well compensated.
They pay clock time for everything you do thats
    connected to them. Meetings.physicals,orientation,etc.
HUB miles mean you don't roll a single mile for free.

    Never had a problem with BH's , so i can't address that.

Was coming through the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area the other week and saw a smashed up Poly truck being pulled along, probably being taken into you guys terminal, looked like the whole front end was smashed in and the drivers side was pretty smashed too, hope the driver was ok, think that was like the second one in two months I saw that had some crumpled damage done.

We've had our occurrences. It comes with the territory of this business. Just yesterday a side dumper raced by me and filled a 70 ft gap between me and an exiting 4 wheeler with his 50 ft truck to vacate the left lane for 2 approaching cruisers with the lights going. Had that 4 wheeler jammed on the brakes he would have hat to lock them up and I would been done for instantly. I jumped out into the left lane long enough to get distance to return. I'm not willing to die for those cops but the a hole in the side dump will kill someone for them Next weigh sta I pulled in back and told them about the jrk. They never did anything. Had I been that 1st cruiser he would a gotten pulled over long enough g for me to tell him , had I not been in a hurry you get a ticket for cutting that other truck off. It's isn't your responsibility to cause an accident to get out of our way. That's stupid.

As the original poster that started this thread, I just wanted to state that, although I have moved on from Poly for personal reasons of needing to be home, I would still make Poly my first choice if I ever had the opportunity to drive over the road again.
I am presently working local and making much more income than I did at Poly, but I really bust my hump every night. The job at Poly is about the most stress free, enjoyable job I ever had. Circumstances lead me away from Poly, but they would still be my first choice of OTR jobs.

Hey Buddy , hope it's going well. One heck of a month. Up over 13,000 miles this month , came from home the 29th of Jan. Home today the 29th of Feb. Just finished 4800 miles last 10 days , with a 34 hr restart mixed in. Been a crazy busy Feb for Poly.

New Protocol when you roll into Grand Prairie.
After you drop your trailer it is now required that you
report to the shop for a vehicle inspection with one
of the shop personal. They will go over the truck fill out a form
and make sure its up to specs before releasing it back to you.
(If you attempt to dodge the inspection you will be
nabbed at the exit gate and sent back to the shop)

Does this apply if you are on a 900 same or diff ? ,
Don't know , but i assume it would.

Other than this , same old Poly.
My miles are very good lately :)

It applies to everything except 900 same/continuous or bobtail Rumor is the guys at the window in the shop don't do much and this was the master plan to keep them busy.

I've been getting my miles , but have been going home more often. Same old stuff.

So Poly is now Micro managing ?
I don't play well in that type of environment ... When you don't have faith in me to do the job the way it should be done tell me , don't force me into inspections at the shop that aren't required by law. I'll find another gig , when you feel I'm incapable of meeting your expectations due to incompetence.

I guess they have enough drivers , and can afford to lose a few of us. Time to beat the bushes, see what runs out. You're gonna add more time to my day , seeing how I'm incompetent and can't do an appropriate post trip now? Too much like Swift, Celadon , and Werner gents , 3 company's I've never worked for and won't start now after 28 yrs.

Dna Mach and 28 Thank this.
