Been some time. XPO announced Friday that they lost 64 million last quarter of last year. Hope they did not bite off more then the can handle.

Thanks daniel...good to know, I hope they didnt bite off more either....I was thinking early on, why didn't we just go employee owned?...I dont know seems better that way...but Im no expert in employee owned...maybe that be better but maybe not. Im just watching closely to see just what changes that will come up the road that would affect us drivers. If I don't like the impact, I have an ace in the hole you might say, and they have APU's and fridge/freezer in their trucks, plus coast to coast mile runs(which I like)..always good to keep an ace in the hole. Im just watching, waiting, listening and see what happens at this time as many others are Im sure. Loyalty goes both ways, know what I mean.

Frankly, I think if XPO could take a "Mulligan" on purchasing Con-Way, they would. This isn't going as planned and they paid too much. It's not that they bit off more than they can handle, they just paid too much for Con-Way. Last quarter's loss was expected. Going forward we'll just have to see if Brad Jacobs can choke it all down. It was a big bite.

Oh yes, meant to add they also have XM Serius Radio, and Satellite TV Flat screens in their trucks, this is all at no cost to the driver. Add this to my above mention of an ace in the hole. I haven't seen hardly any good changes since XPO took over, and if you aren't looking out for yourself, then your plainly said a fool..lol. With all their trimming of senior management, the shop in Joplin has been trimmed, and various other depts. So where's all that money going, it's basically going to please stock holders. Voices are heard is a good concept, but hey show us drivers the goods, so far I personally don't see much, it's basically cut backs. Hey not every company is making cut backs either, check around, I know I have, and that just isn't true. Our trucks have become stripped down versions for OTR drivers like myself that are out here for weeks, I'm usually out 8 to 11 weeks. Again I'm keeping my ace in the hole if I make a decision to leave, been here a longtime, but I'm looking out for myself, as Jacobs isn't going to...lol

Nope. Rebranding kicking in high gear. All shop locations plus 10 fac's around the country doing rebranding. 80 ft tents set up, zoom booms and trailers on site.

Yes, and 80% of OTR drivers I meet up with are saying all negatives...low miles, terminals not being upgraded nor expanded, Christmas Bonus changed to a one paid holiday (so if you were getting like $800.00,you now will get $60.00) , nite/weekend people have become real zombies, and of course several other downward spirals. Micro managing increased . Their a Logistics company I hear most drivers saying, they don't understand a truckload/OTR run company, just remember their known for running asset light, tells you a lot in itself. If things were better the majority of drivers would not be saying negatives. Hey you get told what you are, if things were on the up and up for the most part drivers wouldn't be leaving in the fast fashion that they are at Truckload.

    800 dollars a year.

    That's cute.

    Good luck with that.

$800 would be like 30 years of service before taxes.

    That's a sin.
