I have heard trucks with stacks in the location behind the doors was impeding on your view in the mirrors.. Now from seeing your picture is sure looks like that is true... Do you find them in the way or a little of an annoyance? They look nicer at the side then at the rear, but it seems the cost is a less clearer view...

Don't really ever see them (except when outside looking in, lol). The angle I took the photo must have made it seem like they are more protruding than they actually are. The heat shield over top of the stack is flush with the side of the sleeper.

I think I have another photo that could illustrate this. Maybe. Mostly the OCD nightmare that I took it for.

When you are looking out the mirror, you just see down the side of the truck. Like with any cab. It's just that instead of the cab door being flush with the sleeper, like on a Cascadia or Volvo VNL, the Peterbilt 379 has a narrower cab.

Looking good man! I like the color pattern. Is it a double bunk or single?

Single bunk. All in all I am liking the truck. I can tell there's a difference already with the duals back there instead of super singles (the tread pattern alone would make a noticeable difference).

I thought I would miss the international but no, not really.

I really like midroofs once I moved into one. I love going under 12 ft bridges. I would hate to have a second person in one though. Just not enough room for me.

Shortly after getting into my first mid-roof, I came upon a low bridge. I missed a turn so I thought no big deal I'll turn down the next one. No signage until the bridge was in front of me. I don't recall exactly what height but it was under 13' 6", and my load was not full height. Slid under that thing without an issue. ;)

I see a condo as more space to heat or cool, with zero benefit to me (not to say others don't have different preferences). Even if I pulled a van I would rather run a mid-roof with a roof fairing.

The truck in my avatar is a condo. Maybe some of you remember it.
