I hardly ever broke 60 MPH and I still beat out my competition. There's more then one way to skin a cat.

These idiots that drive crazy are the same ones you see spending too much time at truck stops. So to make up for lost time they rush and could care less who's on the road, get out of my way,its all about me.

I find it amazing that your little brother makes $185,000 per year and your big brother makes $740,000 per year ,yet you're making .30 cpm driving a truck and wasting the time of day to make a thread about other drivers .

By the way, trucking is not my first choice but calling it a "fall back" job is very disrespectful and one of the biggest issues with the mentality of these new drivers working for these mega companies for peanuts

ahhh, you really brought up very hot topic. I hate so much when I enter in 55 speed limit zone, construction lanes, very tight and some drives flies inches away from me, why would not you F wait till I exit construction lanes and you can then go over the cliffs if you want. Hate that

I get about the same. I would get $228 for that.

This job WAS one of my first choices, because the benefits include more than the paycheck. I work well independently and happen to enjoy the solitude. It's a good fit.

As for the rookies working for the big companies, some see that as meaning a place that will likely have great benefits, pay well, and be able to retire from. I nearly fell into that trap myself, before joining here and getting a view of what that sector of the industry is really like.

I pray the people learn to do some research before making what could be a very big mistake.
