We have seen a few of those tiny houses as well... Small size keeps the cost down and on going expenses to heat and light the place is low too... But we would need a huge barn for the rest of our stuff... LOL

Good Luck on your tiny home goals!!!

Thanks. I wouldn't say it's a tiny home more like a small home perfect for just me. 18x32 and it will be 2 stories or a 1.5 stories with 2 small bedrooms on the second floor. The footprint will be less then 700 sq ft but the total living space will be more close to 1000. An extra bedroom for family or guest. And yes i need a garage or large tool shed because i love to work on things.

I feel the same. I made $1/mile as a local company driver last week. And I hear otr guys cussing if they don't get 2,500 miles a week... At $.40/mi.

The ltl companies are me pay very well. $80k a year isn't unge
Concrete companies around me pay $32/hr. Doesn't take too many hours to get $1,000/week. Not uncommon for those guys to get $2,000 checks.

You can always put more clothes on, but at a certain point you'll be arrested if you take too much off.

So a local company wants drivers with otr experience? That's like mandating that neurosurgeons do three years of wart removal before they can be hired.
