Support Thread for the TND 500, TND 700 or future Rand McNally products. (part two)

Yeah mine swapped last night took off said 1030 a bit later looked it said 1143 even though it was 1043. And nope did not change any time zones was in Ohio the whole time.
It all good though phone and other tablet show correct time.

 

Mine is doing the same thing...tablet time is correct but the gps time is 1hr ahead

Mine is doing the same exact thing. Tablet time is correct but GPS is one hour ahead. This just started today. Have you found a fix yet?

 

Any idea when this update is suppose to happen?

 

After having a 710, and a 720 I really like the user interface and setup of the Rand over Garmin.
What is the consensus of the newest tablet? I see kind of poor reviews online. Looking for something that can run GPS and function as a tablet at the same time.

 

Well, I guess I'm glad I'm not the only one with the clock issue, and that there is a fix coming. I was trying everything to fix it all day yesterday lol.

Is there an eta on the fix?

 

Wont matter in a few days, the 12th is when clocks jump forward, IIRC.

 

According to their customer service it was a error in the satalite programming that caused daylight savings time to be activated on the wrong date. It effects the GPS side on the tnd tablet but not the tablet as the GPS part is different then Android. They ate working on getting it fixed but in a little while it will be correct anyway.
