I was told directly today by my ICR that for now forward the policy is of you book a load it's your's and they will not remove it from you unless it's an emergency.
I tried to have a Saturday night pick up removed from me this afternoon and was told from now on they are not removing loads and it's the new operating policy!.
Now they're changing the rules as they go and we have no choice, they put empty trailer moves on us as they see fit and now this...
I think they're trying to run off IC's!!!
Changing again, the rules change but we're not told til after.

My guess could be they're fed up with drivers cherry picking loads by asking to be taken off loads when they find something better.
However how can they change policy without changing the operating agreement? -

What if you line up 2 or 3 loads and one of the first ones cancels...?

All I know is they control what is put on the board, when it's put on the board, how much it's on the board for, whether it's confirmed and when it's confirmed and now even 72 hours out we can't choose to do something else. I only wanted off the load because the area it went to nothing was confirming for past 2 days and what was available was Monday puck up and Tuesday Wednesday delivery.
So it looks as they've found a way to force us to move freight or sit!!! -
what they need to do is apply this to the clowns who are causing the problems...if those folks dont like it....there's the door!!

also changing a contract without a signed addendum is a violation of contract law....
Opus, Dominick253, redoctober83 and 1 other person Thank this. -
I wonder if they're going to start reducing how far out you can book loads. Here at Roehl we can only book 18 hrs out. In their minds it reduces cancellations and confusion when appts aren't confirmed and what not. They probably have a point, but really makes it hard to plan even a couple days out unless you choose a long run that pays ****.
