Okay. The same thing is happening as last time. My body has adapted and my weight lose stopped. I guess is time to really put the bigger effort of exercising. I can't really cut more calories very much. I'm all ready under 1500 daily. I'm going to cut out the guacamole and the ground beef unless it's grass fed and the nut bars. Eating more chicken, steaks and veggies worked best last time. But I wasn't limited by the weather then. I was at home. It was easier exercising also. Rode 150 miles a week and 15 miles of running.
The weight loss slowed to about 3-4 lbs then. So that's what I'm expecting from now on. Since I'm running and cycling now I will be building some muscle back, I hope.
The scale at this dump isn't working, so when I stop for a refueling I'll do my weigh in.
    Wanting a steak for dinner.

One of the back roads I cycled on. It was a lot nicer around the cornet. 20160314_164229.jpg

Well I messed up this evening. I walked in the store knowing I would mess up with $5 cash in my pocket. I ate a king size butter finger candy bar. I'm hoping I don't get sick from it. My teeth hurt, and it's all stuck to my teeth.
I was actually disappointed in the scale this morning and kinda put me in a rut. I hope I'm back on track in the morning. I plan to get up early to make my breakfast.

Update. ...my stomach is killing me right now. It wasn't worth it now for sure.

In my experience, sometimes a bit of a carb load is all you need to keep the weight coming off. Keep it up bro!

Last night was definitely a struggle for me. I was up till 2 am with stomach pain and I assume a sugar rush, I finally fell asleep. It was tasty when I ate it, but the after effects were not good. The "intestinal" discomfort started at 6 am this morning. Just hope it doesn't continue. The stomach has settled but my intestines are gurgling.

Had egg whites and bacon this morning with my cup of Java. I'm going to pick up some cheap disposable bowls for mixing 1egg with the egg whites for flavor. Plain, they get old eating quick. So I also decided that I need to have 2 steaks in the fridge at all times. After I cook one, I pull another out of the freezer. No excuse that every thing is frozen and have nothing to cook. Had steak and broccoli last night. Pretty good. Get some stares some times when I pull out the bbq. If they had meat I would let them use the grill.

TIP........ do you have a problem with eating veggies? Like the taste hitting your tongue and wanting to spit it into a napkin! In your truck or the restaurant take a piece of lemon and squeeze a little bit of lemon on your veggies, not much. Try it next time just on a small piece and see what you think. Even on a salad.

Everything is going okay. It was kinda tuff the day after the candy bar incident.....I'm back on track now. Had rib eye and veggie blend for lunch. Was tasty.
I am still having issues with my Left calf. I walk fine, but I'm scared to run thinking I'm going to seriously injury it. Riding the bike doesn't hurt, but finding safe places without getting ran over is a challenge, and finding a route I can ride 30-40 miles.
Heading to Denver were it snowed today. I'll b there tomorrow and I know the area really well, since I live there. High Sunday of 54*. I can deal with that, no problem. Not sure if I want to let friends know I'm in town cause they want to eat out.

Has anyone had luck with crock pots in the truck? Thinking about it. A roast, carnitas, pork chops, ....

Any cool tricks to making meals?
A cooking utensil that you use all the time?

I'm ready for the warm and hot weather. I like to sweat when I work out.

They work well, just have to come up with a way to keep it stable while driving. I keep mine in a little milk crate. Don't forget to buy the liners for it, makes it so there's almost no clean up.

    truck_n_vacation Thanks this.

What do you cook in it?
And where do you get it?
Also, how many watts does it pull on the inverter?
