Would plugged mufflers caus excessive load on the exhaust rockers. This truck has those POS catalitic mufflers and have ever been changed with 1 million 800 thousand kilometers. I really doubt I'm over revving the motor. I have had and driven cats my whole life and always keep rpm at 1600 or lower . Pretty much the only motor I ever liked just because of the low end power which is real nice off road when you have to lug It over a hill. I'd lug them more but with the gearing I use for logging just going down highway at 100 km/ h is about 1550 rpm
