    I'm also having issues not getting updates. Message states RM services stopped. I Uninstalled the truck gps software and can't get it back because when it tries to check for updates it crashes. Is there a way to reinstall rm services on the device? It keeps trying to resend the same "tell rand" at the top left.

    Actually I may have it fixed... I renamed the tell rand dB files and it isn't crashing and it's trying to update now... sorry for the trouble.

    Update - Version 3790 was released for the 530/730, 520/720.

    After you update, turn the TND off then disconnect from the computer, then power it back on.

    If you still see lagging or freezing let me know.

    I just got an older RM TND 700 unit, and the unit is missing the NaviInfo file in it's root directory. Because of this, RM Dock won't install, because it does not see the unit when it is connected to the computer. Could i get a copy of this file emailed to me so I can put this unit back into operation? RM support said they could not help because the unit was too old, and they did not have any copies of the files. thanks in advance.

    This file is self building when the unit is booted up. From what I gather this unit will not boot to the accept screen?

    What is the serial number off the back?

    When you procured this device what was said about it serviceability?

    The NaviInfo file can be passed from unit to unit of the same model, but if the unit will not boot up then another issue is at hand and the Dock may not be the resolution you are looking for.

    I will be leaving this week for MATS and if you are at the show then you can bring it by the RM Support desk.

    Folks i got it from said it powered on, but had no clue about its operation beyond that. the serial number is 03T7E986923. It boots to the accept screen, but will not move beyond that, not responding to the accept button. Then it gives a Navi.exe error. If I could install RM Dock, I could let it diagnose the file health. Thanks.
