Information on Laredo to Lewisville Dedicated

Hello, I am looking for any info on this account. I live in Rockport Texas. Can you run From Laredo to Lewisville and back to Austin on this account. What are the wait times on both ends? Is it a 24 hour facility on both ends? How often do you get hometime? How many loads delivered do they expect in a week?
Any other info would be great Thanks.

 

I need to clarify something. I meant can you run from Laredo to Lewisville unload and then make it back to Austin in one day?

 

I think it was around .34 for an experienced driver. Not much money but If the run is decent it might work out for me. Thanks for your reply.

 

Gonna think seriously about doing it. What I'm really wanting to know is the wait times if any on both ends and how it all works. That would make it a bad deal if you had to wait a lot. I will talk to someone in the office today and get more answers. Thanks again Ex

 

Ok talked to the recruiter about the dedicated run. As I live about 200 miles out of route they said it wouldn't work for me. They were all to happy to offer me an over the road position though. I said no thanks and I will move on. I have been doing this trucking thing for awhile I started out as an owner opp in 1997 hauling oilfield equipment for Venture Transport. Sold out then went to work for Arrow, TMC, Groendyke, and then in 2007 had an opportunity to drive in Alaska.I have driven the haulroad ,drove thru Canada, drove mountains, and when I say mountains I mean mountains where you are in 3rd direct hoping you don't power out. I have driven thru 60 mile an hour blows where you have to look out your door to see if you are still moving and still on the road. 60 below 0 where every bolt on your truck sounds like it could break. If you stop moving for more than an hour your hub oil is so thick you have a hard time getting moving again. I have spun out and slid backwards on 10% grades, chained up on the side of said hill I have had to do roadside repairs change tires etc. The reason I am telling Y'all this is they were giving me the feeling that they thought since I have spent all that time in AK I don't have enough recent experience over the road driving. I should know better to apply but the run didn't sound too bad and after all it was close to home(I have a house in Rockport TX and work in Alaska). The oil Industry in Alaska has taken a nose dive and things have gotten really slow. Oh well better start doing my homework and be more selective.
