The CEO only cares about the stock and investors...if ANY potential employees ever read there quarterly report they would understand what CRE is about. I kinda feel for this kid but taking a truck back to Utah for a 10 day bus ride home? CRE has plenty of terminals and lots...atleast take it there...Although once when I worked for Millis and a stand in dispatcher gave me crap for 2 days straight I did ask him to route me to HQ...he said why you quitting...I said only if they fire me for beating you...funny I was sent 1000 miles the other way...never heard another word about it...pick your battles

    Be Safe Out There

abandonment is a f up anyways...the company can leave you on the side of the road with no legal action against them..

I know a very good company with super low turnover , high miles and good pay that will take case by case truck abandoned apps. It's one of road runner companies , I know the head of safety but you need a year experience .I leased a truck from them for a year and a half and grossed over 200 k in 2015.

Despite paying higher wages, many large U.S. truckload carriers are still struggling to keep drivers in their trucks. The annualized driver turnover rate at large truckload carriers rose one point to 97 percent in the third quarter last year, the American Trucking Associations said.

That’s the same rate as a year ago, and the 11th consecutive quarter the turnover rate has been above 90 percent at large trucking companies. “Driver turnover, which is a good barometer of the driver market, remains high,” ATA Chief Economist Bob Costello said.
