Well, first week in the books on my own. Worked 64 hours in 5 days. 19 loads hauled. My trainer said he hauled 11 loads in his first week. Had to wait 1.5 hours yesterday for my truck. Yes, I got paid for waiting.
I like the fact that the only I have to wait to be unloaded my load is when a car is blocking my access to my fill tank or at the refineries when several truck show up at one time. The longest I have waited was an hour (5 trucks in front of me). No more waiting for some smuck to unload me when they feel like it, 6 hours later.
Off for 3 days. My long weekend.
