Preventing Spam and Abuse in Conversations...

In reference to accusations made against TTR that moderators read conversations. I want to set the record straight.

The staff doesn't have the time or interest to make a habit of reading PMs. It happens rarely, but when we believe a user is using PMs to advertise or break the site rules an administrator will check to see whether that is the case.

Only admins have the ability to read them. And I can tell you, the ONLY time that we do is when its absolutely necessary. There are almost 170k members here, and there is NO WAY that we have the time or desire to read them.
