How much does your truck weigh empty? Looking at one with identical set up. Having a lot of issues with the Cummins? Awesome looking truck BTW.
Does anyone here run a new 2016 Boydstun car carrier???

But 7509 is a chain trailer. Unless you got it modified or are using portable straps. If you like quickloaders but still want the versatility of a high rail you can always go for a CX7 MST. Like I said earlier in my post.....Boydstun is back in business and is getting WS specd directly from factory with D13 505 hp. Will be the lightest truck trailer combo available. The Peterbilts have the roof chop modification and you can load some massive stuff on the truck alone if you go with the 36 inch bunk.
But as the original thread stated: I want some feedback on anyone who owns the new quickloader from Boydstun. I got a price for a Peterbilt with roof chop and quickloader trailer. The wait for a Cottrell is over 6-8 months...maybe even more for a Canadian spec truck. -
If you are looking for a 7 car trailer, Miller used to make a decent trailer,f they are still in business. It was designed similar to the Cottrell. There is a company in Alabama that used to make car haulers. I believe the company was called Albertville Welding. They are in Albertville, AL. I have been away from the car hauling end of the business for a while, but it might be worth checking into if you want to get something sooner than with the current wait times.

CX7 MST cool trailer, same functionality like my old 7512. It's was my first order,Pete with CX07 MST ,but when it's was done, I'm weighted and man, it's so heavy 45700, even with old style headrack, which is one a lil lighter then new style. I'm lucky, my friend was looking for same setup. His so heappy with, but don't worry about weight, don't have scales on his way. I'm haul used Fords, so, I'm ok with chains, if needed have all set straps.Maybe Canadians d13 have 505, but here in US only 470 in case If Detroit will have this spec in US I'll going with them. I'm thinking WS with D13, normal wheel base (249") and Boydstun will be about 42kLast edited: May 1, 2016
