Get a younger one a couple of decades at least as long as she is 18 or older.

    I wonder if there's a lease program?

One of the advantages I do appreciate: although we live in a postage-stamp-lot development, at least we live in one of the dead-ends...no traffic.;)

Those newer younger models are fine, but then you're doing the elbowing; not them.

One of the better reasons of living out in the sticks or on dirt roads. That rough terrain should act as deterrent to punching the throttle.

Better than any sleeping drugs is, Melatonin - available everywhere. It is naturally produced by the body and leaves no after effects. The liquid form kicks in quickest.

Get a going to bed routine going. I stay on the night schedule as much as possible on my days off which makes it easier.

Avoid Caffeine the last few hours before bed. Don't watch or deal with anything that's going to get you fired up while you do your winding down.

My kids are older so we don't have a lot of noise. We've put black plastic over the bedroom windows under the drapes and have thick drapes so it's dark in there.

Melatonin will help you go to sleep but it won't keep you down. Valerian works for a few nights but loses its effectiveness until you take a break. If you do try a sleep aid, try it first on the night before a day off so you can get a handle on how much the effects linger for you.
