Running with JCT, Part Deux

I've deadheaded from Vegas to Eagle, CO several times.

 

I once dead headed from Denver, CO to Pryor, OK . Picked up that load, dropped it at the yard and then took a 13k load to Cali. Then picked up a 20k load from Lemoore, CA to Appleton, WI. Had a 30+ mph tailwind all the across 80.

Not all states need a reason to pull you over. They can randomly pull you over for inspection. Not sure about Illinois

 

Last year they deadheaded 15 trucks from Ontario, CA to Rogers, AR

 

I did not know that. I do know VA & MD can pull you over any time to do a dot inspection. A practice they preform quite regularly.


I thought all states just pulled trucks over to pay the bills. lol

Last two times I was shut down in VA with my previous employer, the mechanic that came out on the call to fix me did nothing.
Both times they said there's nothing wrong there. I can't fix what's not broke.

 

Well as usual it was a clean inspection.

Wait so if you go into California you're suppose to be paid under their labor laws?

 

Lol we wouldn't be waiting in CA so long for preplans then.
