The shop was cranky everytime i walk in, everytime I asked a question.
I mainly got we dont know, we dont know.. you're engine is really messed up, we dont know, youll probably need a new engine, we dont know, we're working with warranty department, we dont know, we dont know, check back later etc etc. -
Scott72 and redoctober83 Thank this.

Pretty major failure for an engine with low miles on it. Even on high-mileage engines liner failures are usually in the form of pinholes in the liners that allow coolant to weep into the combustion chamber.
Here is a video of a liner being installed on a S60 Detroit.
Another neat video. Now will be on I'll be on YouTube for the next 2 hours. Nice knowing ya guys.

Tell them what you want done . All they can say is no...... -
I did hear something about "a lined being destroyed" when i was in the shop early on but they didn't seem to care to go onto more detail.
They made me feel like i should just mind my own business and let them do their work.
I had to push and push and remind them this is costing me thousands of dollars just to get updates.
All of my shop experienced were horrible. Kenworth in Knoxville was okay though, they got my truck fixed fast although they supposedly fixed a sensor when they really didn't lol -
