So there was an ad on craigslist for a JB hunt daycab position with a home depot account, apparently they're offering me a per mile rate and extra pay like 5 or so bucks per hour for detention etc.Anybody else know anything about this particular account or how much per week I can expect from it? anything would be helpful thanks.

The Home Depot accts vary to some degree depending upon the location. I've heard pay rates anywhere from 38 cents a mile up to 58 cents a mile. Detention for just about all the JB accounts is $15/hr. Personally I hate waiting and make around $20/hr working so even on detention I'm taking a big hit financially but it's better than waiting for free.

For what it's worth pretty much every JBH driver working on the Home Depot acct I've talked with seemed pretty satisfied. There's a guy named wizard on here who works the Home Depot acct who is pretty happy with it in case you want to look him up.

Your right all home depot accounts very but you get paid milage when driving and hourly once you strive at store or return load. Yea it's not 20 a hour but if you move and don't play around while driving then you will avg more then 20 a hour

I made the mistake of signing up for the Home Depot account in Pittston Pennsylvania and I did it for the first three months I was back in Pennsylvania from North Dakota and I was lucky to see seven hundred and fifty bucks a week on a good week

I don't see how that's possible unless you were not driving and going home in 10 hours. Were you working nights? This account pays .46 cpm and 16 bucks an hour per stop (pay starting when you arrive). So whether you are driving or sitting you are getting paid. I just can't figure it out.

I almost never get 2000 miles and my checks are pretty good. You have to add in all the other line items, drop pay, detention, congestion pay, extra money for working 6 days in a row. Yup, that is about 35% of my check.

My last check had 228.00 in d&H and 105.00 in Congestion.

How does the congestion pay work? Are you able to mark it using the People Net or does it automatically read it since we are on a gps. I wish I had that pay when I go to Chicago area. Really feel for those intermodal guy's there.
