I just wonder how many of you actually drove for any ee company out of Chicagoland?I am not saying all of them are perfect but from what I learned on this forum about maga carriers, those ee companies pay much better and are much more relaxed place to work.It seems to me that your opinions are based only on prejudice and xenophobia.

I haven't, but the complaints do tend to be uniform and consistent.

Like I've said here for years, ONE complaint can often be taken with a grain of salt, while MANY usually mean there's some type of issue.

I did my first year for 1099 Ukrainian guy. I was home every weekend, asked him to not send me to NE, which he was OK with and I was grossing 1200-1500. Was it the best paying job with benefits? No. Was it new equipment? No, but I had a big fridge, inverter and a microwave and only two breakdowns within a year. I think it was much better than working for a mega, making peanuts and not being home for 3 weeks at a time. What matters is the person you go to work for and not the location of his company.

Vlad pays .46/mile on W2, or .50/mile on 1099. Your choice.

The trucks are brand new auto Cascadias. The 2017 I am driving has Opti-Idle. It works great. We have one or two older Volvos, but not buying new ones as far as I can see. The Vlad-branded trailers are also new, and there are some Compass or Xtra lease trailers.

You can be home every weekend, or stay out forever.

The owner is always a cell phone call away. We have 50 trucks right now and are expanding.

On the con side: Miles are there, but dispatch can be a little unorganized and you might lose a few miles. Just try to stay on top of it. I was speaking to one of the older drivers who said Vlad was better when he was smaller, it might be getting a little corporate now. Nowhere near the level of a mega of course. Vlad tries works with you.

They don't go west of the Rockies, never asked why. I think they would pretty much hire out of anywhere in the Eastern US as long as they can find some convenient parking for the truck.

Basically, none of the stereotyped comments you have read apply to this company.

Edit to give credit to the mechanics, they really stay on top of things making sure they work.

Another edit to mention it's Vlad and Brother (not Brothers).

Are you being serious???Since when more bigotry is a proof of anything? Not a single poster in those threads actually drove for ee company! It's all "he said ,she said".Gossip no more than that!
You know many Americans believe that immigrants get some special tax breaks simply because they are immigrants.I was once told/asked by a native women "So you don't have to pay taxes?!"
I was like " Really?that's cool, could you point me to some specific law that says I don't have to pay taxes due to being an immigrant?"
She couldn't! Same here, lots of people gossiping without actually knowing what they are talking about!"

Then please, feel free to dispute such claims where you find them.

The burden of proof is on the one making the claim.

    In court, yes.

But if someone is so certain that someone else making such a claim is wrong, what is the harm in proving them so, especially if it can be easily done?
