( you know the guy in charge of the whole place)
And you know he's out to get you,you take the family
With you and go pee in the bottle.
Then go to the beach.

I'm not saying what they did was right,but you knew

I'm really happy for you, in the fact that you've never had to work for a psychopath. There are no limits to what some managers will go to, to hang you, if you've gotten them in trouble. Or if they know you have something on them. I hope you never have to deal with that in your career.

 

I imagine, he had a little faith in the company he was working for. Knowing the manager was in the wrong, he probably thought the company would do the right thing. Many companies will tell you on a regular basis that if you do your job, they have your back. Sometimes it takes a hard lesson to learn differently.

Basically in this industry the rule of thumb with drug tests is if you are randomly selected it can be at any time, which means drop everything and get it done PRONTO. Some companies will wait until you are near or at the office, while others it can be at home or on the road as well, and if you tell them "not now" then they take it as a sign that you are refusing. Unfortunately in an industry where companies are crowing about their turnover rate being through the roof, they will still drop drivers for the slightest thing.

 

You can go an take a hair test to prove you were clean. Not sure if that will help. Sorry you had to learn this way,A lawyer will cost you a lot of money for a case you can not win. when your co. calls you on the phone an needs you to do a random an you answer you MUST comply. dont matter where or what you are doing including off duty at home or the beach.

 

Like I said before you need to shave all your hair off including your eyebrows besides looking really cool you can go get some coke for your nose and stick a needle in your arm.

 

I never, EVER answer my phone while on home time. The caller can leave a message and then I can decide whether I want to call them back or not.

I never do any drugs whatsoever but I do enjoy an adult beverage or three while on home time. Not that my company would ever do this, but in this case, I would have waited until the next day to call them back. Then told them I inadvertently left my phone at home and spent the night at the beach, but did they still want me to pee in a cup? (Legally, it's hard for them to say you refused a test when they didn't even talk to you - voice mail messages are not proof that you were communicated with.)

"F" them - what you do on home time is none of their business.
