Want to see where my mood is right now?
To show ya' how much God likes to #### with me. I had a thought today...never said anything out loud...just thought this to myself..."I think my truck has finally turned the corner. My fuel mpg's are up, the power is improved. If this keeps up, the good mpg's will make up for the crap miles I am getting." Now this is after I got my reload info from Joey, and my next load from Nick was discussed...then I get this message
My 1st thought after reading that is, what kind of retarded neanderthals does Pacar have in their engineering department. I mean, who would design a diesel engine for a class 8 road truck that has to have the engine removed to replace a cam shaft for Christ's sake? Most engine manufactures allow for a full in-frame rebuild. Not Pacar/Peterbilt. This further increases my total dislike for Petes... This is my impression of what a Peterbilt is
And this is the head of their engineering department
Who in their right mind would spend their hard earned money on these p.o.s. I think one of these
should come with every order. Pacar...the only motor that makes me wish I had my International Maxxforce back.
Now this has expedited my desire to depart. Why swap trucks, or deal with a loaner (since I don't get to Fartgo all that often). Why not just get another job and let the next poor schmuck deal with the truck once it comes out of the shop. And he/she can wonder if the 'tards in the Pete shop fixed it, and put it back together right.Last edited: Jun 1, 2016

Can you drop the truck at a dealer on your home time ?
xlsdraw, 4mer trucker and ncmickey Thank this. -
That's what I am gonna shoot for. I am going on vacation 1st week in July and they can have the truck for a week...
tucker Thanks this. -
Today's trucks are being built so fast and there's comstant pressure on supply chains to reduce costs - the result we get mass recalls. You can certainly go, but it could happen anywhere, even the new Western Star 5700XE's have some teething pains (though admittedly not with the DD15) so no brand is immune.
They will put you in a loner and you can get routed to Fargo for the swap, that way you can keep on runnin. I agree it sucks, but it's part of using a machine mistakes are made. At least here they'll keep you running instead of just having you sit for a week collecting chump change.
Good luck and hang in...cdavis188 Thanks this.
